What the project does

Five self-help groups federated into one registered collective
Bulk yarn purchasing, quarterly, against pooled orders
A paid bookkeeper for the collective, funded for three years and then from margin
Two design workshops a year, and costing training so prices are set from cost
Direct sales at two state fairs and one online listing
Accounts read out to the full membership every quarter

Safeguarding & monitoring

All field staff work under the foundation's child protection and grievance policies. Data is collected against the indicators above, reviewed twice a year with the community, and published in the annual report whether or not it is flattering.
