About

A foundation named after the weather in our hills.

How we work

Community-based interventions

Work is designed with the people it affects, and run through existing village and ward institutions wherever they exist.

Capacity building

Training, systems and skills that stay behind when a project ends.

Technology, used plainly

Deployment and demonstration of tools that hold up in hill terrain and thin connectivity, not pilots for their own sake.

Research and documentation

Surveys, assessment, monitoring and evaluation, published so others can use what we learn.

Advocacy and partnership

Working with government, statutory authorities, academic institutions and civil society rather than around them.

Our mandate

The foundation's objects set out twelve areas of work, from climate action to research and partnership. Each one is published in full, in the language it was registered in.
