Terms of use

This site publishes what the foundation is doing and what it has spent. You are welcome to read it, quote it, and hold us to it.

Using what we publish

Reports, survey instruments and teaching material marked open licence may be copied, adapted and redistributed, including commercially, provided the foundation is credited. Everything else on the site — page text, photographs and the wordmark — remains ours, though we will almost always say yes if you ask.

Accuracy

Project figures are the latest verified numbers at the time of publication, and are not adjusted when they disappoint. They are still figures from the field: they get corrected. Where we have corrected one, we say so rather than quietly restating it.

Links out

Where we link to a partner, a government department or a registry, we are pointing at their material, not endorsing everything on their site.
