Why this work

What the project does

Load and willingness-to-pay survey completed in all three hamlets
Household solar with battery storage sized to lighting, phone charging and a fan — 104 systems installed
One shared cold storage unit per hamlet, for produce and vaccines; first unit running since July 2026
Two trained and paid local technicians per hamlet, with a stocked spares box; two certified so far
A village-set tariff covering maintenance, held in a village account and collected monthly
Public performance data: uptime and revenue posted in the village each quarter
